Joe Sawatske

Joe Sawatske is a Fixed Assets Consultant based in Minneapolis, Minnesota; with nearly two decades of experience driving Federal tax optimization for commercial real estate and construction stakeholders.

In his role at ICS Tax, LLC, Joe partners with building owners, CPAs, and advisors to maximize federal tax incentives through programs such as the 48E – Clean electricity investment credit, helping clients unlock substantial tax savings.

Prior to ICS Tax, he led a team at a regional accounting firm, blending the skills of engineers, CPAs, and attorneys to provide comprehensive tax solutions for the construction and real estate industries. Recognized as a thought leader, Joe frequently speaks at industry conferences and seminars, educating peers and clients on the complexities of fixed asset taxation and federal incentives for real property.

Outside of his professional activities, you can find Joe cheering on his son at one of his never-ending sporting activities, having an adventurous meal with his daughter, “helping” his wife around the house, or enjoying one of Minnesota’s 10,000 lakes.
