Travis Cansler-Pitt is a Partner at ICS Tax, LLC, based in Austin, Texas. He specializes in tax and incentive planning for investors, property owners, builders, contractors, and other key stakeholders across the construction, manufacturing, software development, and related innovative industries. Prior to joining ICS, Travis worked in Government Relations, gaining valuable insight into the legislative and regulatory frameworks that benefit those investing in America’s built environment.

With deep expertise in federal, state, and local tax credits, deductions, and rebates—as well as cost segregation studies and fixed asset reviews—Travis has helped clients reduce their tax liabilities by millions of dollars.

In 2020, Travis co-founded ICS Inspectors, a professional services firm that supports RESNET raters and drives adoption of HERS Ratings and other high-performance construction certifications. Through ICS Inspectors, he works to ensure that builders maximize the financial and operational benefits of energy-efficient and innovative construction practices. A strong advocate for the construction industry, he promotes the adoption of advanced building techniques and nationwide energy efficiency standards.

Travis studied Business Management at St. Andrews University in Laurinburg, North Carolina, where he also competed in the NCAA Cross Country National Championships. Outside of work, he fosters pets for animal rescues and supports local adoption efforts.
